We have some super-cute visitors at the pond today! I'm hoping that they stick around for awhile. Aren't those fuzzy little faces the CUTEST?
I'd like to give full credit to Phillip, who ran outside in his bare feet and took both of these beautiful pictures. Look at those little fuzzy gosling bottoms! Adorable.
We're going to have some new additions here at the farm, starting this week. We'll be adding piles of chicks of all sorts of beautiful breeds - Amreaucanas, Easter Eggers, Marans, Barred Rocks, and Olive Eggers. (I'm all about the pretty egg colours.) Maybe the geese noticed how fowl-friendly we are around here and thought it looked like a good place to hang out. I've never raised chicks before and have no idea what to expect, other than that they'll be super cute. That covers a multitude of sins. (Remind me of that when they're driving me crazy with mess and noise, please.)

There's a new 'search' tab at the top of the page for your browsing ease, and I'm working on a few other features. I also worked today on skipping with the boys, puttering in the kitchen, and making a delicious Caesar salad for dinner with extended family. Lovely things, all of them. And now I do believe it's time for some tea, tucking in the chickens, and appreciating the sunset.
